EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Eyelash extensions are cosmetic applications that enhance the length, curl, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes. The extensions may be made from several materials including mink, silk, synthetic, human or horsehair. The main method of applying the extensions is by using a cyanoacrylate adhesive to apply the extension(s) to the natural lash 1–2 mm from the base of the natural eyelash, never making contact with the eyelid.

Eyelash Extensions are eyelashes made of materials like silk, microfiber, synthetic hair that are placed along natural eyelashes in order to give them a longer or fuller look.

There are several desired styles with a different technique to apply eyelash extensions.

First is classic eyelash extension.  Classic lashing is the art of skillfully applying one single synthetic eyelash extension to one isolated natural lash.

Second is Hybrid Eyelash Extension.  Hybrid lashing is a style with a beautiful blend of both classic & volume lashes using synthetic lash alternating classic and volume lashes.  Hybrid eyelash extension style or technique have gained popularity for those who wanted a fuller look but not too much.

Third is Volume lashes.  This Volume eyelash extension technique or style also known as Russian Volume technique is a pristine method in which you are safely applying anywhere from 2-8 super fine, lightweight extensions per natural lash.

Fourth is Mega Volume lashes.  Mega Volume Eyelash extension style or technique is pristine and delicate method in which 10-16 super fine, lightweight extensions per natural lash.  Mega Volume eyelash extensions is currently gaining popularity with the young and old alike, while younger generations prefer longer and fuller eyelash extensions, the older generation prefers a little bit longer than their natural lash but fuller of course.

There are things to know and consider before getting eyelash extensions, such as the density, the curls, and the length, all this are important to help you decide on what look are you going for.  And since each lash extension is attached to single eyelash, they will fall out naturally along with the natural growth cycle of each lash, so touch up every two, three to four weeks is recommended.
